CheckSix AeroSolutions Service

CheckSix AeroSolutions was formed in 2021 as an Aero-mark, LLC company to focus on Aerospace and Defense (A&D) programs to better align with customer needs and allow for future growth.  CheckSix AeroSolutions operates two FAA-certified Part 145 repair stations, maintains a GARMIN Avionics Dealership, and provides maintenance, repair and modification services for A&D, commercial and GA aircraft customers.  It is also expanding into aircraft flight operations, training, and test support, to include manned aerial targets and other emerging aerospace technologies.

MEET OUR TEAM

Mark Lee is the Chairman and Owner of Aero-Mark LLC, which currently owns CheckSix AeroSolutions, Fairhope AeroSpace, and VTA Capital.  Mr. Lee has owned operating companies with a primary emphasis in the aerospace industry over the past 25 years. Mr. Lee has other holdings in real estate, restaurants, and energy as well as an investment portfolio. Prior to owning his own businesses, Mr. Lee was President and CEO of American Pacific Corporation and was instrumental in its creation through several acquisitions. Before entering the aerospace business, Mr. Lee was involved in international business and real estate. Mr. Lee accomplished his undergrad degree from UCLA and his MBA degree from Stanford University. In 2020, he served on the AIA ExCom. Mr. Lee also holds a CPA certificate.

Mr. Skalisky served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  During his 23-year career, he was a fighter pilot in the F-15, F-16, and F/A-18.  His service included assignments as an Air Force Aggressor, Navy-exchange Operational Test Director, Branch Chief for the Undersecretary of the Air Force (Acquisition), and commander of the 611th Air Operations Squadron.  His last position was deputy director of current operations for U.S. Pacific Command.

Most recently, he was the Director of Aircraft Test Operations and Management for Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation – America and was responsible for the program management and flight operations groups for the Type Certification program of the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (Spacejet) program in Moses Lake, WA.  Previously, he was the Senior Program Manager and a Test Pilot for Airborne Testbed Programs at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (now Raytheon Intelligence & Space) in El Segundo, CA with hangar facilities for experimental (research & development) aircraft at both Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Ontario International Airport (ONT).  He has also been a Learjet pilot for a commercial Part 135 operator and a small-business owner.

Skalisky holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Operations Research from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Master of Aeronautical Science Degree in Management (with distinction) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  He also holds FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII) certificates.

Mrs. Todd joined Aero-mark, LLC, CheckSix AeroSolutions’ parent company in 2016. During her employment with CheckSix AeroSolutions , she has demonstrated strong leadership capabilities through her execution of key business decisions while utilizing corporate strategic objectives with a focus on the leasing market. Mrs. Todd’s position has contributed to the development and the maintaining of integral relationships with stakeholders in the leasing community that has a proven track record of collaboration and seamless connectivity. Amongst Mrs. Todd’s achievements are her leadership roles in obtaining CAS’ aftermarket partnership with Boeing (GBS) and Airbus (TSP) which played a pivotal role in growing revenues by 30% CAGR from 2016-2019. Mrs. Todd holds a bachelor’s degree from Boise State and an MBA in Aerospace & Defense from the University of Tennessee. She is LeanSigma certified and serves on the Board of Women in Defense – Greater Los Angeles.

John Tobin joined CheckSix AeroSolutions as Vice President of Finance in June of 2022.  John brings 35 years of accounting, finance, and operations experience to the CheckSix AeroSolutions team.  Prior to joining CheckSix AeroSolutions, John’s career began in public accounting with Deloitte and Touche and progressed through various positions in accounting and finance, eventually joining PACCAR, Inc. and continuing his progression in accounting and finance leadership roles with major divisions of PACCAR including Kenworth Truck, Peterbilt Motors and PACCAR Parts aftermarket division.  John’s unique skillset, blending financial accounting with useful management decision making tools eventually led him to move outside the accounting and finance realm and into operational roles including parts distribution center management and truck manufacturing plant management roles with PACCAR.  In his continuing development and career progression, John left PACCAR in April of 2018 and joined TEC Equipment, a major Mack and Volvo heavy duty truck, parts and service dealership based in Portland, OR.  John was Vice President of Operations for the Washington State region, overseeing and leading teams in two Mack and Volvo dealership locations.  John’s background in heavy duty product manufacturing and aftermarket support, including his recent experience in active management of a heavy-duty truck parts and service organization made him uniquely suited to continue his career development at CheckSix AeroSolutions .  John’s skillset includes solid financial management focused on decision making, necessary reporting needs, as well as an understanding of the challenges of leading teams in operational management; bridging those two into helping the business remain agile and focused on growth and people development.   John obtained his undergraduate degree in Accounting at University of Puget Sound and obtained post graduate degrees in business, English, and creative writing at University of Phoenix and University of Southern New Hampshire, respectively.   John is also a licensed CPA in Washington State and Texas.

Ms. Crispin is the Executive Assistant to Mr. Mark Lee, Chairman and owner of Aero-mark. Donna has been in Administration for more than 20 years. She started in the public school system for 14 years and went on to work for the County of Riverside Public Social Services and the City of Corona in California. She has experience in Real Estate management and then went on to aerospace in 2008. Donna joined Aero-mark in September 2009.
